Privacy and Legal

TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Pacific Northern, Inc. offers a variety of in-stock and custom-order items to suit your individual needs. Unless specified as being in-stock, custom-order items are NOT subject to returns and refunds. All all custom orders take approximately 60-90 days to manufacture and ship. Expect 3 months for your order fulfillment. Color choices for custom orders displayed on your screen might not be identical to actual fabric colors, due to the difference in display capabilities of different monitors.

All products are made to order, unless specified as being in-stock. Production for custom order items normally begins within one business day of the date of your order. Therefore, we can not change/cancel your order, unless we are contacted within 24 hrs from the date the order was submitted to us. Orders that are changed or cancelled after one business day may incur additional charges. To change or cancel an order, please call us at 1-888-888-5868.

Inspect your merchandise immediately upon receipt and notify us as soon as possible if the product at hand does not answer your expectations. You need to notify us within 3 days of the merchandise delivery date that the product was damaged in shipment, or that your shipment contained wrong items. Failure to do so within 3 days will result in additional replacement costs. Please refer to Returns and Refunds section for further clarification.

RETURNS & REFUNDS:
Pacific Northern is a custom order manufacturer. We can not accept returns of custom order items, unless the reason for return falls under one of the categories described below.

The order has been damaged in shipment - Inspect your merchandise immediately upon receipt and notify us as soon as possible if the merchandise has been damaged in shipment. You must hold on to the damaged cartons/product until a representative of the freight carrier can perform an on-site inspection. Failure to retain the carton(s) and product for such inspection will result in a forfeiture of your claim. You need to notify us within 3 days of the merchandise delivery date that the product was damaged in shipment. Failure to do so within 3 days will result in additional replacement costs.

The order has been fulfilled incorrectly (wrong items or colors have been shipped) - In-stock items that have been shipped in wrong colors can be exchanged at no additional cost, if you notify us within 3 days of the merchandise delivery date. Custom color fabric orders are NOT subject for returns due to inconsistency of color. Color choices for custom orders displayed on your screen might NOT be identical to actual fabric colors, due to the difference in display capabilities of different monitors. If wrong quantities/items have been shipped in your order, we will be happy to correct our mistake at no additional charge, if we are notified within the specified time of merchandise receipt.

Dysfunctional/defective displays - Displays that are dysfunctional due to defective manufacturing process will be repaired or replaced at no charge to the customer. However, please keep in mind that jewelry displays are built and assembled primarily by craftsmen, not by machines, and slight variations may occur. We warranty that the display items you order will be free from defects in materials and workmanship, given normal use and conditions. (Please refer to warranty page for more details). It is imperative that if any such defects are uncovered, they should be reported within 30 days upon the receipt of goods. Claims beyond thirty days will be invalid. Please contact us at 1-888-888-5868 for a Return Goods Authorization number prior to the physical return of such merchandise.

PRIVACY POLICY:
Pacific Northern, Inc. respects your privacy. We do not acquire any more information about consumers than is required by law or is otherwise necessary to provide a high level of service efficiently and securely. We make access to privacy-sensitive information subject to rigorous procedural and technological controls, consistent with legal requirements and the demands of customer service. We will not disclose your personal information and will never share any information collected as a result of your purchase with a third party, unless ordered to do so by a duly-empowered government authority.

SECURITY POLICY:
Pacific Northern, Inc. uses industry standard practices to safeguard the confidentiality of your personal information. For online transactions we utilize Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology via Verisign that encrypts your credit card number and other personal information as it travels from your computer to our server. As an added security measure your card number is deleted from our database once your order is processed. We treat your data as an asset that must be protected against loss and unauthorized access.
